Bagepalli and Mitemari Visit On 18-Nov-2006

These are two more beautiful temples of Narayana. In Bagepalli, we get the blessings of Lakshmi Venkataramana Swamy and in Mitemari (also try Mittemari), it is Lakshmi Narasimha.

There are nearby places like Yellodu (called Kurmagini, with a 618 steps Lakshmi Adinarayanaswamy temple in a small cave). We did not visit it.

There is a G N Palya (Gummanayaka Palya) with a dilapidated temple / fort.

Both temples as 270 Kms ( Both ways ) from bangalore.

First Reach Yelahanka, Then travel towads Devanahalli ( New Internation Airportof Bangalore is coming up). Then Proceed to Chikkaballapur, Then from thereProceed to Bagepall. ( It is through and through Straight rroad only, No turninganywhere) .

Then take left turn once you reach bagepalli Cross Road, Then travel 3 Kmsinside on left side your Vainatheyan will greet you and behold you will find aRajagopuram and in front our Seriya Thiriuvadi will greet you. Then you can goto temple and have the darshan of Srinivasa Perumal ,

This is the second temple i visted:

The significance is that Garudan Visits this temple everyday and circles aroundthis hillock temple.

On Rathausthavam day, Garudan comes hovers around perumal and escorts perumal till the Ratham and then he does pradakshinams atop of Ratham and goes away.
